Good to Know

Answers before you ask.

Do I need to see a doctor in person before starting treatment? +

Yes. Every new patient completes an in-person evaluation at our walk-in clinic in Los Cabos before anything is prescribed or dispensed. We don't start treatment from an online form alone.

Is this a pharmacy I can just buy from directly? +

No. We're a clinic with an affiliated pharmacy — treatment starts with a physician evaluation. Once you're an established patient, the pharmacy dispenses your prescribed treatment and can deliver refills locally.

What's the difference between semaglutide, tirzepatide, and the other peptides you offer? +

Semaglutide and tirzepatide are GLP-1-class medications with FDA-approved counterparts (Ozempic®/Wegovy® and Mounjaro®/Zepbound®) used mainly for weight management. Other peptides on our Treatments page — like BPC-157 or sermorelin — serve different purposes (recovery, longevity, wellness) and your physician will discuss what's appropriate for your goals.

What are the common side effects? +

They vary by treatment — GLP-1 medications commonly cause nausea, digestive changes, or fatigue, especially early on. Your physician reviews the specific risks and side effects for your treatment plan during your evaluation. See our Treatments page for a per-medication breakdown.

Am I guaranteed to lose weight or see results? +

No. Results vary by individual and are never guaranteed. We won't promise a specific outcome, and you should be skeptical of any clinic that does.

How does delivery work for refills? +

Once you're established as a patient, our pharmacy can deliver refills locally across Los Cabos. Your first fill and evaluation always happen in person.

Do you accept insurance? +

We operate on a cash-pay basis. We can provide an itemized receipt you may be able to submit to your insurer, but coverage isn't guaranteed.

Can I cancel or pause treatment? +

Yes — talk to your care team about pausing or stopping treatment. Some medications should be tapered rather than stopped abruptly; your physician will advise what's appropriate.

Is telehealth available for follow-ups? +

Yes, for established patients. Your first evaluation is always in person; many follow-ups can happen by telehealth depending on your treatment plan.
